I Wouldn't even give this 1 star but that's not an option. After hearing great things about this restaurant, we planned to go here for brunch yesterday. We arrived at 10:55 and were told that we need wait 25-30 minutes until our table gets ready. (FYI, we called them to make reservations and they said they don't do reservations over phone)

The food at the Turning Point is exceptional. RIght in the center of downtown Westfield, this restaurant could not be in a better location. The atmosphere is lively and casual, the perfect place for a Sunday brunch. Come with friends, family or anyone else and they will certainly love it. While on weekdays the Turning Point may not be too busy, if you come over the weekend you are guaranteed a long wait, at least an hour. Once you are finally seated it will take a while to get served, an average meal takes 2 hours. Once I got up and left because it was too long, so just know that you need a lot of time if you want to come here. Overall, minus the slow service, this restaurant is a great place to go for a leisurely Sunday brunch.

I am so stunned because he acted in a way I don't care if you come to our restaurant. I hope one day, he realizes that the thing differentiates restaurants from each other is costumer service. When people take their businesses somewhere else, then he would learn his hefty lesson.

At this point, I was so frustrated and asked him why we didn't a get a table and I need to talk to the manager. Surprisingly, the guy said I am the manager and he didn't even bother to say "Sorry" or show any sign of willingness to help. After about 70 minutes waiting with a kid, we had to go somewhere else for brunch.

I liked it because you can't mess up french toast, even if you tried. But my girlfriend said that her food was just okay. In the restaurants defense: she did say she liked the food a lot better the last time she was there, so maybe the chef was just having a bad day.

I absolutely love it here! Totally worth the wait every time. The hot chocolate here is to die for and the food here can be described as a unique twist on comfort food. They don't take reservations as far as I know, so go there when you have lots of free time and enjoy a delicious meal!

While sitting in the waiting area, we saw others coming and sitting in the waiting area until their table gets ready. After 30-35 minutes, we (4 adults with a 20 months old kid) asked if our table would be ready and the guy (wearing glasses and had beard) told us that it would take a couple more minutes until it gets ready. We waited 30 more minutes and while waiting, we saw other couples and people who came later and had the same family size or even bigger were ushered to their tables.

I come here with the family every few months for breakfast. Kids love the pancakes. I love the eggs. Great coffee. Brace yourself for a wait past 10am on Sundays.
